国旗の意味
黒色はケニアの人々の肌の色である「黒」に対する誇りを、赤色はイギリスとの独立戦争の際に流した「血」を、緑色は「大地」を、白色は「平和」を表している。
また、中央に配置された槍と盾は、独立戦争の際、ケニア軍は銃を使わず槍と盾で勝利を得た誇りを表している。

Meaning of the National Flag
The color black represents the pride of the Kenyan people, symbolizing their "black" skin color. The color red represents the "blood" shed during the fight for independence from Britain. The color green represents the "land," and the color white represents "peace." The centrally placed spear and shield symbolize the pride of the Kenyan military, who achieved victory in the fight for independence using spears and shields instead of guns.

OHAO Kitchen with Ukraine Everyone

For the first OHAO Kitchen, we will be cooking together with a family who evacuated from Ukraine a month ago. We will prepare Tricolor Donburi, Tonjiru (pork soup), and a dessert.

The session will also include a heatstroke prevention lesson.

With each person joining hands, we hope for the day when the world can truly live in peace. With prayers from our local Minato Ward, we hold this event with the intention of supporting the future of the children.

1940年、ソ連に併合されたが、1990年独立を回復。
古くから琥珀の産地として有名で、住民はバルト系リトアニア人が主。

＜杉原千畝（すぎはら ちうね）＞
リトアニアのカナウス市に杉原千畝記念館がある。
第二次世界大戦中、杉原千畝は日本領事館があったこの場所で、ナチス・ドイツの迫害から逃れるためポーランドなどから逃れてきたユダヤ人に対し、外務省の「発給要件を満たさぬ者へのビザ発給はならぬ」という命令に背き、自らの意志において日本通過を認めるビザを発給し続ける。
この「命のビザ」で救われたユダヤ人は約６千人。
彼らはシベリア鉄道でウラジオストクへ行き、船で敦賀港に渡り、そしてアメリカなどに向かった。

Meaning of the National Flag
The current flag is based on the one used before the annexation by the Soviet Union. The color yellow represents the sun and happiness, green symbolizes the beauty of the land, hope, and joy, and red represents the earth, vitality, and the blood of the people who fought for freedom.

Lithuania is a beautiful country characterized by hills and scattered lakes. It was annexed by the Soviet Union in 1940 but regained its independence in 1990. It has long been known as a source of amber, and its population consists mainly of ethnic Lithuanians, who are of Baltic origin.

Chiune Sugihara
There is a Chiune Sugihara Memorial Museum in the city of Kaunas, Lithuania. During World War II, Chiune Sugihara, in his capacity as a diplomat at the Japanese Consulate in this location, defied the Japanese Foreign Ministry's order stating, "No visas shall be issued to those who do not meet the requirements for issuance," and continued to issue visas allowing Jewish people fleeing persecution from countries such as Poland to transit through Japan. These "Visas for Life" saved approximately 6,000 Jewish people. They traveled by the Trans-Siberian Railway to Vladivostok, then by ship to the port of Tsuruga, and from there, they proceeded to destinations such as the United States.

From October to December, we will be hosting OHAO Kitchen in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine.

We will have a Ukrainian cooking session led by a cooking instructor recommended by the Embassy of Ukraine. Please note that the menu is subject to change. Additionally, we will provide an opportunity to learn about Ukrainian history and culture from a Third Secretary at the Embassy. Furthermore, the Chief of the Emergency Medical Center, who is a doctor, will conduct disaster prevention lessons.

Through the Embassy of Ukraine, we are also conducting a Ukrainian Charity Fundraising campaign. We hope that the funds raised can contribute to medical support.

This is the 3rd and final session.

Let's learn about the history and culture of Ukraine and cook Ukrainian cuisine together. The things we take for granted in our daily lives are not actually granted, and the situation in Ukraine is not something unrelated to us. On this day, let's reflect on Ukraine and contribute to medical support for those facing difficulties in unimaginable environments, even if it's just a little help, through our fundraising activities.

This is the last children's food workshop of the year.

With the cooperation of the Chief of the Emergency Medical Center as a disaster base hospital, we will also conduct disaster prevention lessons.

There will be a "Planting Seeds of Dreams" corner by a former TV announcer, where children can sow the seeds of their dreams.

Since it's the last event of the year, we have prepared special presents unique to the children's food workshop for a bingo game.

白と青はフランス革命のとき、革命軍がかぶっていた帽子に由来するといわれ、白は純粋さを、青は空とアドリア海を表わすとされる。
紋章（国章）の中央部には、この国の山チタノ山の3つの峰に建っているペネと呼ばれる塔とダチョウの羽が画かれている。紋章を囲む月桂樹とカシワの枝の下にはイタリア語で「自由」と書かれている。

San Marino is a mini-state located in the mountainous region of central-northern Italy, surrounded by Italy. The three towers perched on adjacent peaks of Mount Titano form a fortress with a castle-like appearance that was built in the 11th century.

Meaning of the National Flag
The colors white and blue are said to have originated from the hats worn by the revolutionary army during the French Revolution. White symbolizes purity, while blue represents the sky and the Adriatic Sea. The central part of the coat of arms depicts three towers known as "Guaita, Cesta, and Montale" standing on the three peaks of Mount Titano. Beneath the laurel and oak branches that surround the coat of arms is the word "Libertas," meaning freedom in Italian.

San Marino is the oldest small republic in Europe, founded in 304 AD. It is located on Mount Titano (738m) in Italy.
